I would like to thank you all for your support and love as I continue on in my photography career! I wish you all a blessed holiday this season and much happiness and success in 2010. Merry Christmas!

Tonight was so much fun. You’ve already seen photos of Linnea’s best friend Leland … so he’s not a stranger to the blog. Here they are together trick or treating with us parents as we walked around the neighborhood earlier on this evening before they got too cranky and hungry. We had a lot of fun visiting with the neighbors and introducing the chicken and pumpkin. Here are some photos from tonight and I am also posting one of Linnea taken this week in an outfit I just love (before she pulled the pom-poms off the shrug). 🙂 HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone!! Hope you are all enjoying your night!

Here’s the most adorable little boy ever! He makes a very cute Jack-O-Lantern.

Linnea is doing the chicken dance in our alley entertaining us all. She was more interested in dancing and picking rocks and pine cones off the ground than getting candy. I shouldn’t complain!

Brandy and I walking our kids up to the first house for treats…I should note although the kids technically were around last Halloween they didn’t do any trick or treating so this was their first time out and we were relieved it was a beautiful evening and not too cold out.

My husband took the above shot of Linnea…not bad for an amateur! LOL

Leland is much more interested on sucking on the chocolate almonds box and doesn’t seem to mind that Linnea is taking his loot bag!

Our last stop at our neighbors place – Steve and Diane’s (the best next door neighbors EVER!!!)

Now I’m off to watch The Simpson’s Halloween special from Season 11. Sweeeeeeet! G’night!

This past week we were in BC for a family funeral and wedding. Here are a couple shots I got of Linnea I like and some of the gorgeous fall colours that are around Abbotsford. I’ll post more from the week soon.

Linnea’s best friend Leland came over for a visit this evening and they hadn’t seen each other in about a week. Tonight they enjoyed sharing their first kiss and it just wasn’t left at one kiss…they kissed about FOUR times tonight. We’re going to have to lock Linnea in her room if she keeps this up. 🙂

Here’s the shot I got. So adorable!!

My cousin Jenn knitted this adorable brown and orange hat for Linnea last year and it still fits her in time for fall. She’s not one for wearing hats but she kept it on for some time while I took photos of her the other day. The light coming in from both windows was gorgeous and I shot these images with only available light and my 50mm f1.4 lens. I love this lens! Here’s my favorite little girl and her adorable hat:

Here’s a sneak peek of our family session yesterday. The photographs were captured by my assistants Aaron Au and Blake Loates. Thank you both so much. We had a lot of fun. The rest of the photos will come later in fall when I have more time to edit them. Weddings come first!!!

This is one of my favorites!

This blog post is a little unusual for me. I went outside with Linnea to play in the back yard and discovered that this rather large and hairy spider with a hard shell had spun this huge web attached to our tree. Here is a close up of the front and back of the spider. If any of you know what this is I’d love to know! I’m very afraid of spiders so getting close up shots of spiders is a difficult and challenging task for me. I think my friend Ang is going to love it! Sorry if the spider creeps you out. To me it looks more like a spider I’d find on the west coast, not here in Alberta.

Linnea is now walking, almost running and is taking a lot of energy to keep up with. Here are some favorite shots taken yesterday…Most of these shots were taken at the park yesterday evening with Leland. Enjoy!

One of my favorites…I had never really captured this particular expression before so was pleased with this. 🙂

When walking Linnea often has her tongue sticking out the corner of her mouth like she’s concentrating. Too funny!

Here’s another one of those fun expressions that I couldn’t resist posting!

Quick family snap of our neighbors!

Mom and Leland.

Leland in action going down the stairs on his own.

Both kids LOVE wheels and really enjoyed “driving” the “truck”!

Linnea running with her stick that Leland graciously gave her.

Here is Linnea on August 31 – the day my grandpa Froese turned 95! Linnea’s face is constantly changing so I love to capture close ups like this one.

Patting our dog Buddy!

Leland is showing Linnea his pine cone.

Linnea going after Buddy’s tail. She even pulled some hair out.

Just wanted to quickly add some images of Linnea this month for my family…and anyone else who wants to look at our daughter’s crazy expressions!

Linnea begun walking July 9th and is learning by leaps and bounds every day and loves to mimic!

Here she is with Uncle Tom before he left for London, Ontario. We miss you already!

Linnea and her full smile – you can even see her molars! She’s got a mouthful of teeth already!

She adores wearing these fuzzy, warm, pink slippers/shoes! They’ll be great over winter as they’re still a little big for her.

Walking towards me, strutting her stuff…

Playing in Buddy’s water dish with neighbor and friend, Leland! They were soooo dirty and soaked afterwards but they had fun splashing and playing together!
